Michelle Uvence
Early learning expert, Founder and CEO of Creative Cha Cha Cha, a company dedicated to education and entertainment for children, parents and teachers. Mrs. Uvence is a certified Early Childhood Educator (“ECE”); infant, toddler and special needs educator with a vast knowledge in the Reggio Emilia Approach and more than 20 years of experience with children preschool-age obtained during her career implementing daycare and family programs in Canada.

Mrs. Uvence provides individual and group training to teachers located in Canada and around the world via Creative Cha Cha Cha online learning services.

Mrs. Uvence is also an accredited puppeteer which has merged her education in music and infant psychology with her belief that children and adults can learn through play, she invites the young at heart to participate enthusiastically by using puppets, musical instruments and singing.

When I was a teenager, I wanted to change the world, I wanted to live in a better world, more empathetic, cleaner, happier. I continued living life and eventually forgot about my dreams, it was until I completed my Early Childhood Educator (“ECE”) certification and started working that I realized that it was actually my profession that chose me to truly fulfill my dream, being a teacher gives me the opportunity to transmit core values to the children around me and plant a seed that will encourage them the use the tools to live life fully with a loving commitment to create a better world.
当我十几岁的时候，我想改变世界，我想生活在一个更好的世界，那里更有同情心，更干净，也更快乐。就这样我一天天过着普通的日子，最终忘记了我的梦想，直到我完成了幼儿教育者（“ECE”）认证，并开始工作，我才意识到，我的职业选择实现了我的梦想——成为一名教师让我有机会将教育的核心价值观传递给周围的孩子们。种下一粒种子，鼓励他们使用这些工具，以充满爱心的承诺来生活，创造一个更好的世界。

At school I was a very energetic girl, would come up with fun ideas and would constantly joke around, I had teachers who helped me grow in many areas but I also had teachers who made me feel like a “bad girl”. Now I know they did not have the tools or experience to realize that I was simply bored and that I had a different way of learning.
在学校里，我是一个精力充沛的女孩，会想出有趣的想法，也经常和大家开玩笑。在我的周围有很多老师帮助我成长，但有时有些老师让我觉得自己是一个“坏女孩”。现在我知道了，他们对于我运用的的实物教学法缺少认同和操作经验，这样没有经验只是旁观就让他们觉得我的课堂无聊。而我知识运用了与众不同的教学方式。

It is until I discovered my talents and worked in what I was passionate about that I stopped being a “bad student” and graduated with honors. I believe everybody has a purpose in life, every person you encounter throughout your life guides you to become the person you are supposed to be.
直到我发现了自己的才能，并投身于自己热爱的事业，我才不再是一个“坏学生”，并以优异的成绩毕业。我相信每个人的生活都有目标，你一生中遇到的每一个人都会引导你成为你应该成为的那个人。
My experience at school has helped me be the teacher I needed in my childhood, now when I have a very energetic child under my care and is having a difficult time learning I connect with my past and remember what I wish I had to enjoy learning and listen to the teacher, the first time it happened I suddenly had and aha ! moment, puppets, music and trust came to my head, I needed someone to believe in me, someone who could see beyond the activity level or learning ability.
我在学校的经历帮助我成为了我童年所需要的老师，现在当一个精力充沛的孩子出现在我面前需要我来照顾，在他遇到学习困难时，我在回忆自己的求学阶段，不断提醒自己老师希望我们怎么做？——享受学习并且听老师的话！在我第一次遇到这种事时，我突然有了一个主意，哈哈！就在这一瞬间，手偶、音乐和信任来到了我的脑海，我需要有人相信我，有人能够透过活动设计或学习能力来相信我。

Every child I have had in my class has taught me that we are all different and unique, every child perceives life differently based on his/her experiences and creativity, my students have taught me new ways of doing things, things that I could not imagine before, they have infused me with their knowledge, passion, happiness, memories and challenges, most importantly they have become my teachers and motivation for continuous growth.
我教过的每一个孩子都向我呈现了一种现象：我们都是不同的，都是独一无二的，每个孩子根据自己的经验和创造力对生活的感知也都是不同的。同时我的学生也教会了我新的做事方式，这是我以前无法想象的事情，他们向我展示了他们的知识、激情、快乐、会议和各种挑战。最重要的是，他们已经成为我的老师和让我持续成长的动力。
I have studied many children-related topics for years, and I can honestly say that my best teacher has been my son Balam, when I became a mother I was able to comprehend all areas of child’s development, I have been exploring different ways of teaching with my son. I learn new things every day through him and he inspires me to be not only the best teacher but the best mother he could have.
多年来，我学习了很多与孩子有关的话题，我可以毫无保留地说，我最好的老师是我的儿子巴拉姆（Blame）。当我成为一名母亲时，我能够理解孩子发展的各个方面，我一直在探索和儿子一起教学的不同方式。我每天都通过他学到新东西，他也在不断激励我，让我不仅成为最好的老师，而且是我儿子最好的母亲。

To be a teacher is a huge responsibility, parents trust that the teacher will guide and take care of their most precious treasure, their child. Teachers become their right-hand and, in some cases, even spend more time with their child than they do at home.
成为一名教师是要背负巨大的责任的，父母相信老师会引导和照顾他们最宝贵的财富——他们的孩子。老师确实成了他们的帮手，在某些情况下，老师甚至比家长在家做的更多，也花费了更多的时间来陪伴他们的孩子。

When I enter the classroom to teach children or adults, I literally feel stars inside of me, I want to transmit all the magic and excitement to each of them, I become a girl again and my students become my playmates, we get together to have fun together, my puppets and guitar become the door to my inner child.
当我走进教室去教时，我确切的感觉到了自己内心不断闪烁的星星，我想把所有的魔力和兴奋传递给每个人，我再次成为一个精力充沛的小女孩，我的学生成为了我的玩伴，我们聚在一起享受快乐，我的手偶和吉他成为了我内心孩子的大门。
